Birth Announcement

On February 9, 2011 my first book, Small Does Not Mean Struggling: and other stories of small church propaganda was published by WinePress Publishing.

You can see a photo of the cover on the left nav bar of this blog. If you click on the photo you will go to the WinePress website where you can get more information about the book such as ISBN, price, and length.

Now I need your help! For the book to sell I need my friends to help me create some buzz.

  • Eventually it will be listed on Amazon. Search for the title in books and (If you've read it) write an honest review. If you haven't read it just click the "Like" link.

  • Please tell your small church colleagues about Small Does Not Mean Struggling. It was written from the perspective of a small church pastor to encourage small church pastors.
  • Ask for it where you shop for books. They wont have stocked it . . . yet. You don't have to buy it there but asking about it creates interest.
  • If you know if anyone in the media, a producer, a writer, an affiliate with any paper, radio show, TV show or Internet site please let me know. They can go to my web site http://www.allthesewords.com/ for info about me and to see my publishing credits.
  • Ask your local library to order it so that your community will have access to some positive small church literature.
Did I mention I need help. Thank you very much for your continued readership and for supporting my latest publication, Small Does Not Mean Struggling: and other stories of small church propaganda.

Stay Strong!

I'm teaching an online course on smaller-church membership and plan to buy the book. It's too late to add to the syllabus, but I'll review it for those students, add it to my bibliography, and of course put an Amazon review up.

And if I love it, I'll shout about it on FB!! I also link to this blog because it makes me laugh, smile, and cringe a little sometimes. Bless you and your ministry!

Thank you!
I cringe a little sometimes too. Maybe a little more than sometimes. You'll like some of the chapters in the book, some will make you cringe more. I just hope my confused passion for the small church pastor comes through.
Best,
Dave
